"Biography; Dr. Xu is currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Departments of Hematology and Oncology, Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University. She received her MD and PhD degree in Medicine from Fourth Military Medical University in China. She was an internist specialized in gastroenterology diseases. Her research work had focused worked on gastric cancer immunotherapy and prostate cancer metastasischemoprevention. Her work has been published in numerous journals, including J Natl Cancer Inst., Cancer Research, Oncogene, Molecular Cancer Therapeutic. and Molecular pharmacology. She is an active member of the American Association for Cancer Research and is serving as an editorial member of multiple journals. "
Research Interest
Molecular basis of signal transduction in cell proliferation, motility and neoplastic transformation; the use of these knowledge to develop molecular markers of disease progression and novel drug discovery and therapeutic approaches againstcancer.
