Biography
Mohammad Firuz Ramli is an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Environmental Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia. He has been a faculty member since 1995. Firuz completed his undergraduate studies at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (Earth Sciences) in 1993 and his Ph.D. at University of Portsmouth (Engineering Geology and Remote Sensing) in 2001. His primary research interests lie in the field of remote sensing, geographic information system, engineering geology and hydrogeology. He has collaborated actively with researchers in other fields such as geophysics, hydrology, waste disposal and atmospheric science. He had published his works in more than 40 journals. He had also been invited as a reviewer to more than 20 journals.
