Journal of Proteomics & Bioinformatics |
| Proteomics is nothing but the wide scale study of proteins. “Proteins” being the major component of all the physiological metabolic pathways, are the life-sustaining particle of all the living organisms. Bioinformatics is the combinative study of the informatics processes in biotic systems. It merges information technology and biology. |

Open Access |
The Open Access Journals are those which are freely available and accessible online to the reader. They neither have financial nor legal barriers. The proteomics & bioinformatics publication under the open access category ensures the peer-reviewed biomedical research.
Journal of Proteomics & Bioinformatics (JPB) furnishes all aspects of global protein analysis and function between the physical and life sciences to understand the biological processes. These types of journals call for a substantial effort to mine and interpret the data. The journals are specifically provoked in manuscripts that integrate functional or structural proteomic analysis using bioinformatics concepts and intramural views. This supports the journals which publishes original research articles in all areas of experiment and applied proteome bioinformatics. In past years Journal of proteomics & bioinformatics has been showing tremendous citations and articles focusing the most advanced research trends.
This journal in the open access category is expected to have voluminous impact on the areas of scientific and engineering globally. Proteomics and bioinformatics are fast emerging as an important discipline for academic research and industrial applications. The functional analysis and interpretation of large-scale proteomics and gene expression data require effective use of bioinformatics tools and public knowledge resources coupled with expert’s research. Journal of Proteomics & Bioinformatics invigorate the innovative developments, research issues and solutions in the field of proteomics and bioinformatics with their applications. |

Objectives |
| The main objective is to promote and develop the coordination between the sciences for the practice of proteomics “in and with” bioinformatics. This helps to introduce new algorithms to handle large and heterogeneous biological data sets and to improve the content in it. |

Editorial Manager |
| JPB is using online manuscript submission, review and tracking systems of Editorial Manager® for quality and quick review processing. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of JPB or outside experts; at least two independent reviewers approval followed by editor approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript. |

International Prospectives |
| The JPB under the open access category is much more improved than the traditional publications. It allows the free, faster and unconstrained access to the scientific research and their results. The scientists, who needs change (or) are excited about the changes, now prefer the open access journals/publications than the routine to magnify and pass around their knowledge. JPB encourages and also depends upon data interpretation, efforts and analysis of proteome data using the bioinformatics solutions (tools and inbuilt concepts) and conceptual advances in protein biology. |
