About the Journal

The International Journal of Waste Resources (IJWR) is presented with a vision of providing the young talents a platform to encourage them to develop and globalize their skills and talents for the welfare of the society they are associated with and ultimately to the whole world. The journal also aims to encourage every young talents to pursue research in fields they are interested and also makes every citizen accessible for the new technologies through their innovative ideas and extraordinary thoughts.

IJWR being one of the top peer reviewed journals in the field of waste resources acts as an abutment for the researchers and scholars to publish their innovative notions on an open international platform. It includes the research areas but not limited to waste treatment, environmental protection, special waste management, hazardous waste, food waste, solid waste management, waste water technologies and other interdisciplinary areas. With the aid of this open platform, raw and polished ideas of the researchers will be published in the journal which will be accessible by the readers al over the world for free. The submitted articles undergo a rapid and robust peer-review process by the under the roof of editorial board and reviewers expertise in the respective field of research.

Advantages of publishing in IJWR:

  • Fast track publication: Articles after acceptance by editorial board will be included in our article in press, articles included in press are citable.
  • All the articles are accessed for free which fetches more number of subscribers and readers.
  • As the articles are accessed for free, the probability of the article getting cited and referred is more.
  • We share all our articles in social media and blogging sites which increases the number of readers and article downloads.
  • Articles are instantly shared with our subscribers.

Waste Management

Waste Management is the collection, removal, processing and disposal of waste (waste of humans and organisms including industrial waste)

Waste Resources Management

The waste resource management includes a hierarchial processes which result in various stages related to waste after its collection. It includes avoiding waste, reducing waste, reusing (recycling) waste, recovering waste, waste treatment and waste disposal.

Related Journals for Waste resources management

Science and Technology in Waste Treatment

All the strategies and advanced techniques use in collection, treatment, recycling, and disposal of waste are discussed under this category.

Solid Waste Management

Solid waste management is the collection, treatment and disposal of solid materials that are discarded by purpose or no longer useful. Improper disposal of solid waste result in unsanitary conditions which lead to pollution and spreads various infections and diseases.

Related Journals for Solid waste management
Solid Waste Management, Solid Waste Management Articles, Journal of Solid Waste Management, Advances in Recycling & Waste Management, Journal of Coastal Zone Management, Journal of Pollution Effects & Control, Journal of Solid Waste Technology and Management, Solid Waste Technologies

Waste Water

Wastewater is the adversely affected quality of water by anthropogenic influence. It can originate from a combination of domestic, industrial, commercial or agricultural activities, surface runoff or storm water, and from sewer inflow or infiltration.

Related Journals for Wastewater
Waste Disposal Methods, Industrial Waste Disposal Methods, Journals on Waste Management, Waste Management Journals, Oceanography: Open Access, Journal of Coastal Zone Management, Fisheries and Aquaculture Journal, Zhongguo Jishui Paishui/China Water and Wastewater

Recyclable Waste

Recycling is the method used to convert the waste materials into products which can be reused. The common waste materials which have the potential to be reused can be recycled as raw materials, can reduce energy consumption, reduce pollution, reduce further pollution of water and landfills; reducing the need for waste disposal.

*Unofficial 2015 Journal Impact Factor was established by dividing the number of articles published in 2013 and 2014 with the number of times they are cited in 2015 based on Google search and the Scholar Citation Index database. If 'X' is the total number of articles published in 2013 and 2014, and 'Y' is the number of times these articles were cited in indexed journals during 2015 then, impact factor = Y/X
