Her Primary research interest concerns the genetic analysis of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) susceptibility using the mouse as a model and Long-term goals of research is to identify the genes responsible for SLE-susceptibility, characterize their contribution to autoimmunity, and understand how their interactions result into the well described SLE immunopathology.
