Genomics

Genomics is one of the disciplines in genetics which deals with genetic sequencing that applies to different fields like recombinant technologies in genetic materials. These recombinant technologies will have greater applications in diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases and also in finding novel therapeutic approaches in treatment of chronic disorders which require long therapy. This application had a great role since it prevents drug resistance and hence a safe therapeutic benefit. Peer review refers to the work done during the screening of submitted manuscripts and funding applications. This process encourages authors to meet the accepted standards of their discipline and reduces the dissemination of irrelevant findings, unwarranted claims, unacceptable interpretations, and personal views. Publications that have not undergone peer review are likely to be regarded with suspicion by academic scholars and professionals.
