Molecular genetics is the field of genetics and biology which deals with application of genetic principles at molecular level. Application of genetic principles had great importance in diagnosis and discovery of new therapeutic approaches in treatment of diseases. Molecular Genetics and Genomics cover all areas of genetics and genomics and encompass experimental and theoretical approaches in all organisms. Peer review refers to the work done during the screening of submitted manuscripts and funding applications. This process encourages authors to meet the accepted standards of their discipline and reduces the dissemination of irrelevant findings, unwarranted claims, unacceptable interpretations, and personal views. Publications that have not undergone peer review are likely to be regarded with suspicion by academic scholars and professionals.
