Many people are troubled needlessly by anxiety, worry and nervous fatigue - conditions which can ruin health, impair performance and sap enjoyment from life. Clinical anxiety disorders are the most prevalent and costly of the mental disorders. Over the course of a year, clinical anxiety disorders afflict about one in six adults, more adults than any other type of mental or substance disorder. About one in four people will experience clinical anxiety disorders over the course of their lifetime.
