Biography

Prof. Ajai Kumar Srivastav presently leads the Endocrine Toxicity Group within the Department of Zoology, DDU Gorakhpur University (India). He completed his post-graduation in Fishery Biology from DDU Gorakhpur University and obtained Ph.D. from the same Institution. Prof. Srivastav’s research centres on understanding the physiological interactions particularly ionic balance between organisms and their environments. He obtained prestigious Young Scientist Award from Indian National Science Academy (India) and is also Fellow of National Academy of Sciences, India. Prof. Srivastav worked as Post-Doctoral Fellow at Department of Internal Medicine I, Heidelberg University (Germany), Department of Animal Physiology, Nijmegen University (The Netherlands), Department of Biology, Toyama University (Japan) and Noto Marine laboratory, Kanazawa University (Japan).
Prof. Srivastav authored about 175 peer-reviewed research papers in the journals of International repute. He is also serving on the Editorial Board of about 35 scientific journals and as reviewer in more than 45 journals.
