Biography

Dr. Iman Al-Haj Ibrahim is Asssisstant professor at Qatar University-College of Education, Psychological Science Department. She received her Ph.D. in Psychological Counseling, her Dissertation focused on: The Behavioral Therapy for Children with Attention Deficit Disorder with Hyperactivity. “Clinical Semi-Experimental Comparative Study of Two Programs: Medicine vs. Mutual Medicine and Behavioral Therapy”. Dr. Iman has participated in developing psychological services in several specialized centers in the Arab World and has dedicated her life to provide several programs of counseling and psychotherapy services in addition to cognitive and behavioral assessment, focused on the special needs programs. She has worked as a consultant of psychosocial support programs for many humanitarian institutions such as, Qatari Red Crescent, Queen Zein Al Sharaf Institute for Development.

She has published numerous articles on psychological counseling and has participated in numerous conferences in the field of her specialization. She has experience in promoting a culture of awareness by providing psychological services to develop a variety of programs with community-based organizations interested in social and educational development , which aims to meet the needs of children and parents alike. 
Research Interest

Dr. Iman has focused her career in specialist training on assessment skills, diagnosis and treatment in psychology, and through her clinical experience she has developed research interests in the areas of: mental health, multimodel of psychological therapy (cognitive and behavioral therapy), community awareness programs, evaluation and cognitive assessment, teaching research methods, establish Iindividuals and group counseling programs for adults and children.
