Dr Suma Chand is an Associate professor in the Department of Neurology and Psychiatry at St Louis University. She is a Clinical Psychologist specialized in Cognitive Behavior Therapy. She is licensed psychologist and a certified cognitive behavior therapist. She trained in Clinical Psychology from the National Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences (NIMHANS), India, in 1981 and later obtained her PhD from the University of Bombay, India in 1997. She has received training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy from the Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy and Research, Philadelphia and is a certified member of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. She has worked in a number of countries including India, Malaysia, the United Kingdom and Oman before moving to the United States. Dr Suma Chand has extensive experience in Clinical Psychology and has published articles related to behavior therapy and cognitive behavior therapy in peer reviewed journals and in book chapters.
