Biography

An associate professor of medical technology with over 20 years research experience of the molecular biology of hepatocellular carcinoma. Currently engaged in the research of the molecular target therapy for hepatoma cells.

1998: MD degree (Niigata University School of Medicine)

1992-1995: Research Fellow in the Department of Oncology, Biomedical Research Center, Osaka University Medical School, Osaka, Japan. (Thesis Research on hepatocyte growth factor; under the direction of Prof. Toshikazu Nakamura, Ph.D.)

2001-2007: Instructor, Internal Medicine, Niigata University Hospital.
2007-present: Associate professor, Department of Medical Technology, Niigata University Graduate School of Health Sciences.

Medical License, Certification of Medical Specialist in Internal Medicine, Certification of Medical Specialist in Gastroenterology, Certification of Medical Specialist in Gastroenterological Endoscopy, Certification of Medical Specialist in Hepatology.
