Evolutionary Algorithm

The Global Journal of technology and Optimization (GJTO) focuses into open-acess journal on Evolutionary algorithm. The main objective of GJTO is to bring out the latest practices in research in the above mentioned areas for efficient and cost effective operations of power systems. The journal covers, but not limited to, the following scope: electric power generation, transmission and distribution, energy conversion, electrical machinery, sustainable energy, insulation, solar energy, high-power semiconductors, power quality, power economic, renewable energy, electromagnetic compatibility, electrical engineering materials, high voltage insulation technologies, high voltage apparatuses, lightning, protection system, power system analysis, and electrical measurements. Evolutionary algorithm is an umbrella term used to describe computer-based problem solving systems which use computational models of evolutionary processes as key elements in their design and implementation. A variety of evolutionary algorithms have been proposed. The major ones are: Genetic Algorithms, Evolutionary Programming, Evolution Strategies, Classifier Systems, and Genetic Programming.
