Intelligent Robotics

Robotics is growing increasingly multidisciplinary journal as it moves towards intelligent robotics, that meet both human needs of society and technical challenges inherent in real world settings. A joining of the disciplines is essential for enabling robots to help people in their efforts to be more productive and enjoy a high quality of life. In particular, human-robot interaction requires advancement of the state-of-the-art in the empirical, algorithmic, mathematical, social, and engineering aspects of robotics in an integrated manner. Intelligent Robotics can be intimidating to people that perceive it as a threat and think that humanity might become obsolete when robots populate the world, but it can also be an amazing achievement that will help the human race to progress even further and solve many difficult problems.
