Biography

Sunil K. Arya received BSc. in Chemistry in 2002, MSc. in Organic Chemistry in 2004 and Ph.D. in Chemistry-Biosensor in 2008 from the University of Delhi, Delhi, India. He is currently a scientist at institute of microelectronics, A*star, Singapore. He has completed a Post Doctorate at University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida, USA and at National Institute of Nanotechnology and university of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He has published more than 50 papers in international journals. His primary interests are in synthesis and applications of Nanomaterials, monolayers and MEMS for gas sensor and electrochemical biosensor.

Electrochemical biosensor for protein biomarker detection

Focus idea, detailed experimentation and proper analysis of results

Singapore government fund

Day when Biosensor journal became part of OMICS

6. Where can the journal find the maximum scope in terms of niche?

Biosensor device with new approaches

7. What is your greatest career accomplishment?

Yet to accomplish

8. How does the published scientific content assist the potential researchers?

It provides the idea and start point for new researcher. Also it tells researcher what not to try as based on results observed earlier.

9. What is the purpose of serving as an editor?

To bring journal to higher level by screening and providing inputs for good research articles

10. Do you have any patents filed for your research?

Yes

11. Have you contributed any editorials or papers (any type) to OMICS Journals in the past two years?

No

12. Do you plan to contribute any editorials or papers to OMICS Journals in the next few years?

Might be, however at present our institute has provided a list of their journal and we are supposed to publish in those journals only.

Till date it is great.

It will provide good opportunity to meet like-minded people and will help journal to get more focus approach

It is relatively new journal and provide opportunity to new researchers to bring their research to scientific community.
