Microbial Biosensors

Biosensors Journal is the open access journal on Microbial biosensors. Open Access journals are the major sources of knowledge for young and aspiring generations who are keen to pursue a career in science. All the articles published in the journal are open access serving as a means of accelerating scientific discovery by providing free and unrestricted access of scientific knowledge through the Internet. Live microorganisms employed as biosensors are referred as Microbial biosensors. These are developed using different sensing techniques such as electrochemical and optical detection. The electrochemical biosensor is a widely used technique offering high sensitivity and rapid detection. Electroactive species produced or consumed by microbes are monitored by conductimetric, amperometric, impedimetric, or potentiometric methods. Optical techniques are based on the measurement of fluorescent, luminescent, colorimetric, or other optical outputs from microorganisms. OMICS Group publishes 700+ peer-reviewed journals in all aspects of Science, Engineering, Management and Technology journals. OMICS Group has been instrumental in taking the knowledge on Science & technology to the doorsteps of ordinary men and women. Research Scholars, Students, Libraries, Educational Institutions, Research centers and the industry are getting benefitted greatly from this knowledge dissemination. OMICS Group is credited with 3000+ International Scientific Conferences, well organized workshops, events and symposia to spread the essence of Biology all over the world.
