Photo Chemistry

"Chemical Sciences journal is one of the Leading journals in Photo chemistry. The journal publishes the results of fundamental studies on all aspects of chemical phenomena induced by interactions between light and molecules/matter of all kinds. The study of chemical reactions, isomerizations and physical behavior that may occur under the influence of visible and/or ultraviolet light is termed as Photochemistry. Photochemistry is a sub-discipline of chemistry. It is the study of chemical reactions that proceed with the absorption of light by atoms or molecules. Light is a type of electromagnetic radiation and a source of energy. According to Grotthuss–Draper law, light must be absorbed by a chemical substance for a photochemical reaction to take place. For each photon of light absorbed by a chemical system, no more than one molecule is activated for a photochemical reaction, as defined by the quantum yield. OMICS group organize international conferences annually all over the world along with hosting leading peer-reviewed journals. One of our journal related conference, “3rd International Conference on, Medicinal Chemistry & Computer Aided Drug Designing” December 08-10, 2014 San Francisco, USA” accords great importance. "
