Psychological Debriefing

Psychological debriefing was designed for groups of individuals exposed to traumatic events to improve their emotional well-being. Psychological debriefing consists of interviews that are meant to allow individuals to directly confront the event and share their feelings with the counselor and to help structure their memories of the event. Most Psychological debriefing interventions involve a single session which might last between one and three hours, in the days immediately following a traumatic event. International Journal of Emergency Mental Health and Human Resilience is the best peer-reviewed journal of OMICS International, presenting the articles on the novel and current scientific studies taking place in the area of Psychological debriefing across universities and research centers in various parts of the world.
