Generally Psychotherapy is recommended whenever a person is grappling with a life, relationship or work issue or a specific mental health concern, and these issues are causing the individual a great deal of pain or upset for longer than a few days. Psychotherapy can be used to treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, borderline personality disorder (BPD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), long-term illnesses, drugs misuse, eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia and binge eating.
