Visual Sensor Networks

International Journal of Sensor Networks and Data Communications is one of the leading journals on Visual Sensor Networks (VSN). It is an international open-access journal dedicated to science, application and advancement of sensors and sensors as part of measurement systems. The emphasis is on sensor principles and phenomena, measuring systems, sensor technologies and applications. Visual sensor networks are in many ways unique and more challenging compared to other types of wireless sensor networks. One of the main differences between visual sensor networks and other types of sensor networks lies in the nature of how the image sensors perceive information from the environment. Most sensors provide measurements as 1D data signals. However, Visual sensor networks are composed of a large number of photosensitive cells and provide a 2D set of data points, which we see as an image. The additional dimensionality of the data set results in richer information content as well as in a higher complexity of data processing and analysis. OMICS International journals have over 15 million readers and the fame and success of the same can be attributed to the strong editorial board which contains over 50,000+ editorial board members that ensure a rapid, quality and quick review process. International Journal of Sensor Networks and Data Communications is one of the leading journals of OMICS International. Conferences organized by OMICS make the perfect platform for global networking as it brings together renowned speakers and scientists across the globe to a most exciting and memorable scientific event filled with much enlightening interactive sessions, world class exhibitions and poster presentations.
